Introducing Dynamics NAV 2017
The latest version of Microsoft's ERP for small and medium sized businesses, Dynamics NAV 2017, is now available.
Released in October 2016, the new version offers deeper integration with Office 365 and Dynamics CRM, improved reporting with built-in Power BI, letting you create reports and dashboards without leaving NAV, and enhanced analytics and predictive capabilities using Cortana Intelligence.
Numerous improvements to the core application include new financial reports, enhanced item management and updates to make it easier to take online payments. And there's a better user experience whether you're accessing NAV through Windows, the web, your phone or a tablet.

Save Time with the Outlook Add-In
With the new add-in, you no longer need to switch between applications. Quickly access financial information, setup customers and vendors, and create quotes, process orders and submit invoices all without leaving Outlook.
Insightful Analytics with Power BI
Use embedded Power BI to create your own dashboards and reports, then make them available within any NAV 2017 role centre or share them with your colleagues. As Power BI is now built into NAV, you no longer have to switch products to see your reports.
Easy Online Invoice Payments
By inserting hyperlinks to online payment services onto your invoices, you make it easier for your customers to pay their invoices online. And installing the PayPal integration extension, provides PayPal Standards payment links in invoices, supporting multiple ways of accepting payments.
Better Manage Your Products
Organise and classify your products how you want them, perform advanced searches on your catalogue in just a few clicks and then display only the information you need. Create custom item attributes and assign an item attribute value – then save time by filtering your items based on your values.
Quickly View Financial Performance
Get started straight away with the new immediately available Financial Reports. As they're ready-to-use, there's no need to create or buy anything extra. And with point-in-time reporting, you can see the financial state of your business for any given time. Ideal for SMBs.
Improve Your Project Management
Managing projects has been made much easier with the new streamlined Jobs entity. A new Jobs setup wizard lets you setup jobs and enter time sheets. And an updated Project Manager role centre gives you quick access to common tasks, a new My Jobs list and to see the profitability of your job.
Easy To Use Predictions
Cortana Intelligence delivers easy-to-use predictions and analytics directly within NAV. Taking advantage of historical data, it predicts potential sales, gives overviews of expected stock-outs and predicts cash flow based on payables and receivables.
Connect to the Tool of your Choice
With the NAV 2017 Connector, you can easily connect to other applications. Open Excel, Power BI, PowerApps or Microsoft Flow, select the connector, log in with your NAV 2017 credentials and get started. You can read data from your database or write data back to your database.
